ELECTION NEAR AT HAND. THE DOUBLE DISSOLUTION. POLITICIANS' ANTICIPATIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. MELBOURNE, June 3. The general idea among politicians is that if the present anticipations are realised a double dissolution will be granted, and the general elections will take place within three months, probably in August. A Sydney message says that representatives for all except five seats have been provided for by the Political Labour League in connection with the Federal elections. This action seems to be an indication that this body considers an election imminent.
