PROGRESSIVE LIBERAL AND LABOUR ASSOCIATION.

A successful meeting of tho women's branch of the Progressive Liberal and Labour Association was held at Mrs Cummins'.s residence. Brougham Street, on. Thursday afternoon. Tiiere was a good attendance. Seven new members were enrolled. It was decided to hold tho meetings on Thursday at intervals of a fortnight. It was decided to hold the next meeting at Woolstoti. Mr IT. 0. Ell, • M.P., was present and delivered a short address for which he was thanked. A very hearty vote of thanks was carried to Mrs Cummins for tho use of her room.
