LICENSING COMMITTEES
KAMI’OI. The annual meeting of the Kniapoi Licensing Committee was held at noon yesterday; present—Messrs T. A. B. Tlailey, S.M. (chairman), J. W. Foster. C. Leech, F. Horroll, T. P. Mablv and J. L. Wilson.
All the police reports were satisfactory, and ivriain alterations asked for had been attended to. A transfer of license for Commercial Hotel. Oxford, from Edward Hill to F. W. Glassun (Mr Cassidy) was agreed to. The following hotel licenses -were granted : —For 'Kaiapoi—David Richardson, Pier Hotel; Joseph Lister, Mnndeville . Hotel. and Thomas M’Grath. Kaikainni Hotel. For Rangiora—B. P. Edwards, Junction Hotel; Cornelius Byrne. Red Lion Hotel; John Mansion (Mr Hobnn), Plough Hotel. For Oxford—Fredk. W. Glasson, Commercial Hotel; J. M’Clure. Harewoo.-l Arms Hotel. For Cost—John Fraser, Halfway House. For Wcodend—R. T. Day, Royal Hotel. For Sonthbrook George Hood, Masonic Hotel. For Belfast— John Barry, Seven Mile Pec Hotel. For New Brighton—J. M. M’Pherson, Bower Hotel. ' It was dcchPd that the regn'a+’nns for hotel public lamps and granting conditional licenses should remain as hitherto.
