By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. A METEORITE. SYDNEY, June 1. Tlie unusual sight of a large meteorite falling and bursting in daylight was witnessed at Narratseen. FIND OF MOLYBDENITE. An important find of molybdenite is reported in the Bathurst district. SHALE ON FIRE. Trains are delayed near Mudgee through a cutting catching fire. The cutting is through shale. As a result of the fire oil is exuding in great quantities and is flowing, ablaze, along the creek. ‘ INCREASED REVENUE.
The New South Wales revenue for eleven months shows an increase of £1,460,000.
