SPECIAL MEETING.

A special meeting of the Amuri Agri- j cultural and Pastoral Association was j held on Saturday afternoon. The pre- • sident, Mr K. Pettigrew, was in the chair, and there was a good attendance. The president moved a hearty vote of thanks to Mr G. H. Sharpe, who had returned his prize money as a donation to the Association. The motion was carried with acclamation. The report of Messrs Crampton and Harland, the j udges in the field competi-. tion, was read, stating that the winner' was Mr A. J. Sunckell. The report was adopted. The president was appointed delegate to the Agricultural Conference at Wei-1 lington in July. • .
