When Mr Ramsay MacDonald was addressing the Labour Party in Memorial Hall suffragettes took charge of the meeting for an hour. They called Mr MacDonald a traitor and there were many freo fights before they were ejected. Tho women fought with frenzy and violence. Chairs were hurled, sticks wore used and glass doors and windows smashed.
