WEATHER FORECAST. Dominion Meteorologist’s summary and forecast: —Showers have fallen on the West Coast and southernmost districts, but fair to cloudy weather lias prevailed. Moderate to strong westerly winds have mled generally, but a north-north-east gale is reported this afternoon nt Kaikoura. The barometer has risen slightly. Present indications are for variable winds, with modcrato to strong westerlies prevailing, and fair to cloudy weather generally. Barometer unsteady, with a rising tendency. \
