The Council adjourned pending receipt of an Imprest Supply Bill from the other Chamber. HOUSE OF REHIESESTATFvES. Friday, Jvkf. 28. AFTERNOON SITTING. Tho House met at 2.30 p.m. LEAVE OF ABSENCE. Seven days leave of absence was granted to Mr Hemes. Bn.LS INTRODUCED. Tho Land Agents' Registration Bill (Mr Wittr), Workers' Minimum Wago Bill (Mr Payne), Public Service Reform Bill (Mr Herdman). Workers' Right to Work and Wages Bill (Mr Payne), Marriage Act Amendment Bill (Mr Fisher), Prevention of Acquirement of Unearned Increments Bill (Mr Payne), Arbitration Act Amendment Bill fMr Payne), Legislature Act 1908 Amendment Bill (Mr Hindmarsh) and Limitation of Distress for Rent Bill (Mr Hindmarsh) wero read a first time. IMPREST SUPPLY. An Imprest Supply Bill for £714.900 was introduced by Governor's message. A long discussion arose on the motion to go into committee. Tho House adjourned at 5.30 p.m. EVENING SITTING. The House resumed at 7.30 p.m. The Imprest Supplv Bill passed its final stages and the House rose at 9.45 P-m.
