FIRES.
A serious fire occurred at East OxWd on Thursday afternoon, by which \lr J. C. Mann lost about fifty tons of hav. Ready assistance, rendered bv the'neighbours, secured the safety of the buildings, which wero in danger. Mr Mann is a hoavy loser, as nearly the whole of his winter feed for his dairy cows was destroyed. The cause pf the fire is a mystery.
