At the New Zealand Association's annual meeting, motions were passed in favour of promoting reciprocal trade between New Zealand and Australia and removing tho restrictions on Australian currency in Nov.- Zealand. Lord Islington and Sir Joseph Ward were elected patrons, and Mr Owen Cox president.
