SHIPPING CASUALTIES.
[Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, May 7. The scow Ngaru, belonging to tho Maoriland Navigation Company, went ashore when leaving Kawhia to-day. An. attempt to refloat her was not successful. Another attempt will be made to-morrow. Tho weather is calm, with a moderate sea running, but neap tides make the work of refloating difficult.
