CANTERBURY RUGBY UNION. A meeting of the Management Committee of the Canterbury Rugby Union was held last night; present—Messrs G. H. Mason (in the chair), F. T. Evans, F. D. Kesteven, C. Buchanan, S.F. Wilson, G. Scott, W. Allardyce, A. L. Jones, E. W. Basel! and W. G. Garrard, honorary secretary. It was decided to summon representatives from tho North Canterbury SubUnion and the N’Tu Ahuriri Football Club to appear before the Management Committee in order that a final and exhaustive inquiry might be made into the disqualification 01 the club by the sub-union. Tli© matter of arranging representative matches for the season was left in the hands of the delegates to the New Zealand Rugby Union.

ASHBURTON RUGBY UNION. ‘ The Ashburton Rugby Union has made final arrangements with the Ashburton Domain Board for the use of grounds in the Domain for the coming season. During the past two seasons matches have been played on the show grounds, over a mile from the town, and the results have not been satisfactory. The Union, at a meeting on Monday evoning, decided to onpose the proposed deletion of Rule 5 by tho Canterbury Union.
