LOCAL GOVERNMENT BILL.

At a meeting of representatives of various local bodies to-day, the following delegates were appointed to attend the Dominion Conference to consider the Local Government Bill:—Messrs James Trevor (chairman of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board), D. M'Laren (Mayor of Wellington), R. Lee (chairman of the Education Board), F. W. Venn (chairman of the Horowhonua County Council), J. W. McKewan (Borough Councils .and other bodies).
