There was a full yarding Friday at Diivauchelle, and judging by' the way the saleyards have been supported of late the company should have a record year. - The attendance also was large, owing doubtless to the interest taken in the sale of some local farms. Fat cattle, of which there was a very good entry, sold well, but stores, unless at all forward, showed a decline from previous rates. Steers brought from £7 15s to £9 2s 6d, fat cows up to £6 lis, springers up to £lO, heifers up to £6 10s and two and a-half-year-old steers from £5 to £7 ss. The latter price was given for a very nice line. Calves met with a poor demand, several pens being passed in.
