TO THE EDITOR. c; r In vour article under the heading of '"Farm Workers." you stato We are disposed to believe that there is a real shortage of farm workers." There is also a real shortage of cottage accommodation in tho country districts. If the Farmers' Union, instead of continually crying out about the shortage of labour, would take stops to induce the Government to acquire land and erect workmen's homes in country districts, and so induce meii to livo in the country, the'shortage of labour would be a thing of the past in a few years, if farmers would employ as many married men as single men and lads.- —I am, etc., ■ i a ll WIMERTJ.
