MEETINGS OF PARISHIONERS

ST. LUKE'S, HINDS.

I The annual meeting of parishioners of St. Luke's Church, Hinds, was held in the hall on Friday evening, when the vicar, the Rev J. H. Rogers, presided. The vicar in his address stated that he intended to start an extra service, and Mr C. M. Strachey, of Ashburton, was giving valuable assistance m the matter. A branch of the Church of England's Men's Society had been formed during the year, with ■Mr J. Cook as secretary.
