AMBERLEY

At the Amberley sales yesterday there was a yarding of beuween SUUD and 9000 sheep, of which 4200 were fat lambs. The market was easier for tat lambs, which ranged from los lOd to 16s 9d. Fat ewes made 10s to Ids ud, fat wethers 17s to 18s 3d, half-bred store two-tooth ewes 15s lOd, do wethers 11s 6d, store lambs 5s 6d to 10s IdAmongst the principal sales of fat lambs were —For J. CLEARING SALE AT AMBERLEY. On Saturdav Messrs Dalgety and Co. held a clearing sale for Mr S. A'a'-ughan, of Amberley. There was a jjood attendance, and the stock realised full market values. Amongst the sales were 216 four and six-tooth ewes 16s, 300 two-tooth 15s 7d, 408 four-yea r-old ewes 12s lOd, 500 full-mouth ewes 8s 7d. 160 fat wethers 14s lOd, 300 store wethers 13s 6d. 600 ewe lambs 11s Bd, 150 fat lambs 13s lOd, 290 store lambs 7s, 320 forward lambs 10s 2d. Draught horses sold at £2B, £3O, £3B, £4O to £46, and hacks and harness horses £lO to £2O.
