Tko Mount Morgan gold reduction works in August treated 93G0 tens, producing 3421 ouncos. The copper plant treated 1 22,450 tons for GO4 tons oi blister copper, containing 59S tons pure copper, and 5557 ounces of silver.

Tho Consolidated Goldfields of New Zealand, Limited, 'in its report for tho month of August, says that of its group of properties —viz., Progress, Wealth of Nations and Blnckwatc-r ininos—Progress crushed 5676 tons, yielding 7770 z l'ldwt of bullion, of tho valuo of £3113 Ss 10d. It cyanided 2510 tons, yielding 2790 z €dv;t of bullion, valued at £O7l 143 7d; estimated 1 value of sulpburets, £738. Tho 'Wealth of Nations crushed 2GSS tons, yielding 8750 z 9dwt of bullion, valued at £3.790 os 9d. It cyanided 1480 tons, yielding 29foz 16dwt of bullion, valued at £976 17s Id; estimated valuo of sulpburets, £99. Blaokwatcr crushed 4250. tone, yielding 17330 z 7d\vt of bullion, valued at JJ7104 ISs fid. It cyanided 2293 tons, yielding 3S9oz 12dwt of bullion, valued at £ll2O 2s; estimated valuo of sulpliurets, £I3S. New Big River during August obtained 7230 z fidwt me-lted gold from 600 tons of stone, and cyanided 620 z lOdwt of bullion from 350 tons, of the total approximate value of £3OO.
