A message from Rome states that the balloon Albatross fell a distance of 1900 metres at Turin, luckily into some trees. Six aeronauts were seriously injured, and one desperately.

Lieutenant Bague, who only passed the French aviation examination three weeks ago, unexpectedly left without preparations and endeavoured to fly to Corsica. He lost his way, and aeroplaned 142 miles. He alighted at Leghorn.
