RUSSIAN VILLAGERS TORTURE MURDERERS. United Press Association—By Eleciario Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, March 5. A farmer and his wife were murdered at Novonickolaivskaya (Russia). Villagers tortured the murderer, placing red-hot stones against his feet until he confessed, implicating two others, who were then similarly tortured, though they protested their innocence.
