SECURES ONE OF THE LARGEST PREMISES IX THE CITY OVER A QUARTER OF AN ACRE GROUND FLOOR SPACE. Again this economic institution finds their present warehouse in Worcester Street altogether too small tor the convenient shopping of their long list of members, ami are obliged to move into laager premises. The proprietors hare been fortunate indeed in securing onty of the biggest premises in the city ; the shop now occupied by Oatcs, Lowry and Co.. in Manchester Street, and the two adjoining whops and the largo factory in the! rear. This gives a vast, warehouse with 75 i'eov frontage and over a. quarter of an acre ground floor space. A team of carpenters are starting immediately on the reconstruction and fitting up of tho promises and the Wholesale Club anticipato opening business on the new site early in December. Tremendous new stocks are coming forward direct from the manufacturers in all part* of the world, and Canterbury residents may look forward to a great'display of new up-to-date reliablemerchandise of. ever- description at prices such as have never before been made possible to the public. The difference between the Wholesale Club prices to members and ordinary retail prices shows a saving of from .SO per cent to 50 per cent, and the difference which thai makes to the spending capacity of members is easily estimated.
