CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION. Tho Canterbury Hockey Association mot last evening; present—Messrs E. Hulbert (in the chair), P. N. Bundle, W. Congreve, jun., W. T. Doig, J. E. Dunstan, D. Snell, C. Bowden and E. J. Ccoper. Tho action of the Judiciary Connnittoo in imposing a fine of 10s, in default six months’ disqualification, on a player named P. Campboll, charged with striking another player, was confirmed, and an appeal against the committee’s decision was dismissed. Permission was granted to the Ashburton Centro to conduct a five-a-sido tournament under the auspices of tlio Association, on the understanding that a date that would not clash with Christchurch competitions must he selected. A protest by tho No. 2 Lyttelton team against the conditions under which the semi-final match with St Luke’s team in the recent five-a-sido tournament had been played was dismissed. Tho Auckland Association wrote, asking the Association to fix a date for a match between teams representing the two Associations, to be played at Auckland. Consideration of tho matter was deferred. Tho Wellington. Association wrote, stating that August 0 had been fixed for the Shield match with tho Canterbury Association. It was decided to accept tho date. CANTERBURY LADIES’ ASSOCIATION. Tho following matches will be played on Saturday in the Canterbury Ladies’ llcekcy Association's competitions:—Senior Competition—To liangitira v. Kotiro, Te Rangitira ground; Dunsandel v. Old Girls, Dunsaudel; AVuihora v. Hincmoa, Polo ground; Dig’by s v. Y/aircre, Sprcydon; v. Girls High School, Girls’ High School; _ Christchurch a bye. Junior Competition Nga Ilino v. Gilby’s A. Nga Hino ground; Divby’s B v. St Luko’s. Dig by s No. 1; Dishy's A v. To Kahn, Lyttelton; St Margaret’s V. Gilby’s B, Gilby’s; Aornngi v. Girls' Iliffh School, Aornngi; Old Givis v. Tunbinc, Tuahino; To Hanaitira v. Dig by’s C. Digby’s No. 2. The match between AA’ailiira and Ilinemoa will commence at 2.13 p.m.
