Miss Devereaux will attempt to play the piano for forty hours, in order to beat her own record, in tho Pioneer Hall, commencing to-morrow at 8 a.m. Th© annual meeting of members of tho Canterbury Licensed Victuallers' Association will be held at the Association’s rooms to-morrow, at 3 p.m. A lecture, under the auspices of the Christchurch Kindergarten Association, will bo given by Mr R. H. Smith at St Margaret’s College, Armagh Street, at 7.30 this evening. Owjng to an unprecedented demand for tickets, the committee in charge of the concert to be given in the IVlerivalo Schoolroom this evening has decided to repeat the concert on Saturday, when tickets will be available. A sale of work will be held at St Peter’s Presbyterian Church to-day and to-morrow, _______
