Mr William Abraham, Nationalist, has been elected unopposed for tho Harbour Division, of Dublin, rendered vacant by the death of Mr T. Harrington. ROYAL MESSAGES. LONDON, June 14. Two Royal messages were read in tho House of Commons. The first related to tho civil list, and tho Chancellor of tho Exchequer gave notice of motion for to-morrow to consider it and to appoint a committee. Tho second message related to tlio regency. On the motion of the Premier an address was agreed to, assuring his Majesty that his wishes would be complied with. SUFFRAGE BILL. (Received June 10, 12.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 15. In tho House of Commons, Mr D. J. Sliacldeton’s Suffrage Bill was read a first time without division. EMPIRE CENSUS. Mr Burns stated that lie was communicating with tho dominions with a viow to taking an Empire census in 1911. Sir Charles Dilko advocated a system similar to the Australian, whore tlio quinquennial details wero fuller and moro complete.
