LONDON, March 16
Eighty per cent of tho workmen at Krupp's Gormania yard at Kiel struck for a half-holiday to protest against the Prussian Franchise Bill. Many workers in other yards joined them. Ten thousand men were out,- and came into violent collision with the police. The latter were hard pressed,' and took refuge in shops, the windows of which were smashed. ■ Ten demonstrators and several police wore injured.
