M&sefield, Dewar, Patrick and Marenai won £1 each The members of the New Zealand team express themselves well satisfied with the conditions at the Randwick ranges, and in practice work their shooting is well up to expectations. The selection of the eight men to compete in the Empire Match will not be made till Saturday. (Received October 12, 10.2 p.m.)

The- following are- the scores of New Zealanders, non prize-takers:—Jubilee Match—Hobbs 91, Duncan, Cox and James each 90, Hadfield 89, Halliday and Bradley each 87, Masc.field, Loveday, Franklin and Willoughby each 86, Hawthorne 8-3, Shaw and Guy each 81, Lee and Mills oach 83, Evans 81, Moore 77. M'Oonnell 71. Members' Match Hadfield, Hawthorne and M'Oonnell each 42, Craw and Loveday each 41, Cos and Bradley each 40, Munro, King, Guy and Mills each 39, Moore 38, James 87, Shaw 36, Hobbs 35, Halliday 34, Clyde, Franklin and Evans each 31, Duncan 30, Leo 29. To-day there was a fresh breeze, running from 13 to ISdeg right. The light' was dull. Tho Jaques Match was won by Brown (Parrama'tta) with 50. Hawthorn, James, Moore and Bradley each 47, and Guy and Evans each 46, took £1 each. Shaw, Hadfield, Willoughby, Craw, Marenzi, Hobbs and Franklin each scored 45; Patrick, Munro, Miils and Cox 44, lung and Halliday 43, Duncan 42, Dewar 41, Loveday, Leo and M'Oonnell 40.

Tho Dudley Match was won by Robinson. (Queensland), with 50. Loveday was fifth with 49, and took £3. Patrick 48, Hawthorne, Clyde, Masefiold and Guy 47, took £1 each. Cox and Lee each scored 46, Shaw, Craw and Munro 15, Hadfie'ld, King, Halliday and M'ConneE 44, James and Bradley 43, Hobbs and Duncan 42,, Evans and Marenzi 41, Mooro and "Willoughby 40, Dewar 38, Franklin and Mills 37. The first stage of the King's Prize will commence to-morrow. (Received October 13, 12.40 a.m.) Tho Nowmarch Match was won by Bourke (East Maitland), with 39. Craw 36, Guy 34, Duncan, M'Conneil and King 32 each, Shaw, Hadfield and James 31 each, and Clyde 30 receive £1 each. HIGHLAND RIFLES. The Canterbury Highland lfcifles fired the first of a series oi matches at Kedclitts on baturday for prizes donated by the corps, also for the if Lean and Caledonian Challenge Cups. 'Jibe wind, although light, was sufficiently unsteady to militate against good scoring, especially at tho longer range. The conditions of tho match were:—A grade, scratch match, ten shots at 503 and C(K)yds; B grade, handicap match, seven shots at 603 and 600yds. The following are the results : A Grade.
