CHRISTCHURCH LADIES' CLUB. Tho first round of the Christchurch La* dies' Goif Club's championship was played at Shirley yesterday. The following are th* results:—Mrs Day beat Miss Holmes, 4 up and 2 to play; Mrs Boys beat Miss Wood, 5 up and 4 to play; Miss Rnlherford beat Miss A. Humphreys, 2 up; Miss Campbell beat Miss B. Wood, 6 up and 5 to play. The second' round will be played to-day.
