OBITUARY.

[Kjiom Oik Cobrgspondjent.] WET/LTNGTON. July 7. The death is announced of Mr Russell Hallcy, of the firm of Messrs Bing, Harris and Co., warehousemen, Wellington. Deceased was well known in commereial circles. He was for eonie years connected with the Christchurch blanch of Messrs Sargood, Sou and Ewcn. and later joined Messrs Bing, Harris and Co.. at Christ-church. Some seven or eight. years ago he was Transferred to Wellington and had resided there ever since. He was a prominent member of the Commercial Travellers' Club and a member of the committee. Deceased, who was about fifty years of age, leaves a widow and five children. Deceased was a brother of Messrs H. B. and D. 0. Halley, of Christchurch.
