At a meeting of the Harbour Board today, a cbmmittee which was appointed ■to consider .the question of this, grounding of the Ulimaroa while coming up the harbour, submitted a , report*," in which it expressed the Opinion that .the master of the vessel (Captain Wyllie), had not exercised ordinary care in the iiavigatioii of the vessel* end recommended that his pilotage exemption certificate should, . Be-Withdrawn, the captain to have the option of applying in throe months for reinstatement. After, a lengthy dis-
eussion the recommendation was rejected by six votes to four. In .the course of the discussion the opinion wag freely expressed that in tho event of such an, accident in the harbour again the Board should be represented at any inquiry held. .
