The conference is a corollary to Mr Asquith’s recent suggestion. ;• In the House of Commons, replying to questions, Mr M’lvenna, 'on behalf of Mr Asquith, stated that for all practical purposes the United States Navy did not enter into the Government’s calculations regarding a two-Power standard.
