Tallow.—At the tallow sales 1402 casks were offered, and 723 sold; mutton, fine 33s per cwt, medium 30s 3d; beef, fine 31s 3d, medium 29s 6d. Copper.—On spot, £57 8s 9d per ton; three months’, £SB 3s 4d per ton. Tin.—On spot, £132 2s 6d per ton; three months’, £133 15s per ton. Lead.—£l3 7s 6d per ton. ANTWERP WOOL SALES. (Received April 29. 9.45 p.m.) London April 29. At tho Antwerp wool sales there were numerous buyers and good competition. • Tho catalogues comprised mostly cross-breds. Commons were par to 5 per cent higher. 2828 bales of La Plata wool were offered and 1920 sold. (Received April 29, 10 p.m.) MELBOURNE, April 29. At the sales to-day hides were in good demand, at an eighth of a farthing decline owing to wet weather. [Per Press Association.) NAPIER, April 29. The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company has received the following cablegram:—“Frozen meat— To-day’s prices: Canterbury mutton, 3|d; Napier, Wellington and North Island, 2jjd.
