INSPECTION OF EMIGRANTS. LONDON, April 29. Sir Horace Tozer, Agent-General for Queensland, suggested -to the Imperial Government that it should co-operate with Queensland in establishing a depot at tho London docks for the inspection of emigrants, some of whom possibly were aliens. Lord Crewe replied that the Government was unable to adopt the suggestion which would involve a departure from the Emigrants Information Office’s policy, which \yas limited to giving information. ARREST OF AN ANARCHIST. PARIS, April 28. " A man named Verdier, an anarchist, has been arrested at Monaco. Ho had in his possession a revolver and a letter stating his intention to kill President Fallieres. WIRELESS TELEGRAPHY. BERLIN, April 29. The Kaiser, at Corfu, established wireless telegraphic connection with Berlin, via Metz. The messages took four minutes, compared with four hours by ordinary telegraphy.
