Two thousand six hundred Russians have crossed the Persian frontier. The" Morning Post's" St Petersburg correspondent states that 20,00 f) men will shortly be quartered at Azerbaijan. The Shah offers the Tabriz revolutionaries an amnesty and a constitution in conformity with tho sacred law. The revolutionaries are pressing for the restoration of the former Constitution. Resolutions wer6 earned at mass meetings in Persia demanding resistance to the Russian invasion.
