The Tennis Championship Meeting was continned in fine weather. The matches between the New Zealand and New South Wales ladies produced some excellent and exciting play. The following are results: Ladies' Singles.—Mrs Doyle (N.S.W.) beat Miss Ward (N.Z.), 6—B, 6—2, 6—2; Miss Wellwood (N.Z.) beat Miss Gardner (N.SW.), 7—o, 3—6. B—6; Miss Baker (N.S.W.) beat Miss Powdrell (N.Z.), 6-2, 6—3; Miss Nunneley (N.Z.) beat Mrs Colquhoun (N.SfW.), 6—o, 6—2; Miss Jones (N.S.W.) beat Miss Grey (N.Z.), 6—4, 9—7; Miss Travers (N.Z.) beat Miss Lee (N.S.W.), 6—l, C-0.
Doubles.—Misses Lee and Jones (N.S.W.) beat Misses Grey and Travers (N.Z.), 6—l, 7—5; Misses Powdrell and Nunneley (N.Z.) beat Mrs Colquhoun and Miss Baker, 6—3, 7--5.
The matches will bo continued to-morrow.

AUCKLAND, April 23. At a meeting of the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association, hold this evening, it was decided to accept the offer of the Now Zealand Association to hold the next New Zealand championships in Auckland, the dates fixed being Boxing Day and succeeding days.
