PUBLIC SAFETY.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—l should liko to know why the City Council do not compel motor-cars a lid motor-bicycles to carry their numbers upon thoir lamps at night. They compel the. poor cabby to have bis lamps numbered. Why not make them all alike for the safety of the public?— I am, etc., \ J. S. MYERS.
