Clergy of all denominations have sent condolences to tho relatives of the Primate. SEIZURE OF OPIUM. Opium of the value of £IOOO was seized aboard ' tho German steamer Prinz Waldeniar. CITIZEN SOLDIERS. Major-General Hoad, Federal Commandant, has returned from a visit to England and America. He said that he was as much impressed as ever with the splendid work done by the Australian citizen soldiery, which compared more than favourably with any similar organisation that ho had seen.
