ALLEGED CANNIBALISM. THE RECENT CYCLONE. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph-—Copyright. SYDNEY, April 19. News from German New Guinea, reports that there is unrest among the Admiralty Islanders. A Japanese named Kimmino, the captain of a trading schooner, together with two native deck-liands, were massacred, but no details are to hand. The islanders aro credited with being cannibals and with torturing their victims before killing them. News from the New Hebrides states that tlic recent cyclone came across Malekola and passed between Epi and Vate islands. Ambrym, Pentecost and Santo practically escaped. Fears aro entertained for the safety of the recruiting ketches Normandie and Dick Engler, wreckage from the latter having been found. Four plantations and many other places were ruined.
