News from the New Hebrides states that tlic recent cyclone came across Malekola and passed between Epi and Vate islands. Ambrym, Pentecost and Santo practically escaped. Fears aro entertained for the safety of the recruiting ketches Normandie and Dick Engler, wreckage from the latter having been found. Four plantations and many other places were ruined.
