Kaikoura—Wind, N.E., fresh , barometer 29.96, thermometer 64; fine, sea rough. Bluff—Wind, south breeze; barometer 30.02, thermometer 56; drizzling. CAPTAIN EDWIN'S FORECAST. Captain Edwin reported at 5 t .ia.: " Southerly winds northward at Napier, Taupo and New Plymouth. Westerly winds elsewhere." Captain Edwin's forecast, telegraphed at noon yesterday, is as follows: " Westerly moderate to strong winds; glass fall."
