CHARGE OF ARSON.

FIRES IN A HOTEL. [Peb Press Association.] NAPIER, November 23. Ethel Olsen, aged twenty yeare, was before the Court to-day charged with wilfully setting fire to the West Clive Hotel. From the particulars available it appears that the license© found three incipient fires in the hotel about six o'clock yesterday morning and suppressed them with difficulty before much damage was done. As the result of inquiries the police arrested Olsen on a charge of being concerned in the affair. She was remanded till December 2, bail being allowed.
