CURRENT NOTICES.
The annual ball of the Canterbury Fifth Contingent will be held in the Art'Gallery to-morrow evening. Tho Canterbury Farm Labourers' Union will hold a general meeting on Saturday in tho Trades Hall. The Estudiantina Band will give a conoert in the Choral Hall on August 1, in aid of the Salvation Army Band. A poll will bo held on Monday to elect a member to fill an extraordinary vacancy upon tho Ellesmere Drainage Board.
