At the Bisley meeting, shooting for the Loder Challenge Cup, Lieutenant Addison (South Australia) scored 35 and tied with Sergeant-Major Yorke. Addison did not shoot off the tie, and allowed Sergeant-Major Yorke to take the prize. The newspapers congratulate Australia on her unprecedented successes. (The Loder Challenge Cup competition is fired at 600yds, seven shots. Lieutenant Addison (King's Prize winner) and Sergeant-Major Yorke made the possible score. . The Loder match is open only to members of His Majesty's Home, Indian or Colonial Mounted Forces. Sergeant-Major Yorke belongs to tho Yorks Imperial Yeomanry.) When the tie for the King's Cup was declared, Lieutenant Addison and Private Hope agreed to pool the prizemoney, each receiving £155. Addison stated that he did not care for the money, but valued the honour of winning. His victory was the most popular over gained at Bisloy. Lieutenant Addison has been overwhelmed by cable congratulations from Acstralia. A sum of £I4OO in prize-money has been won at the meeting by the Australian team.
