A MARINE VOLCANO.

SYDNEY, July 23. The Navua, from the Islands, reports that the volcanic disturbance has been, located. The Premier of Tonga, who visited the spot, states that there appear to be vents not far from each other. There was a rushing, booming sound, and a column of smoke and steam mixed with black pumice was thrown into the air with a tremendous noise. The column was close on a hundred feet high. Tlie vents were playing alternately, and should the outbreak continue the formation of a new island is predicted.
