The judgment obtained against the !" Daily Telegraph," for libelling a candidate at the recent election, by classi-. fying him as a Socialist, has been eet aside by the Full Court, The Chief t Judge held that the Judge in the Lower Court should, have determined that there was no evidence upon which a rational, verdict for plaintiff could be found. FLOUR MILLERS' ASSOCIATION.
A meeting of country flour millers formed an Association, and resolved to discontinue the absurd practice of selling forward beyond three months. ACQUITTED.

Barklie, chaffeur of the car which killed the Eev J. Gillette, on June 9, has been acquitted on a charge of manslaughter.
