DISAPPOINTED IMMIGRANTS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Your correspondent, " A Victim," gives an accurate copy of one of the circulars containing , misleading statements from the Agent-General'e office in London concerning New Zealand. I received the same, also a promise to write on my belialf to the Labour Bureau, and later a statement that the said letter had been sent, which letter, I was informed, had not been received in Wellington. The handbooks are also misleading and wore tho cause of my throwing up work in the Old Country to come here. I may eay that hoping for better prospects has kept me quiet so far. I trust your correspondent, " A Victim," will not let the matter drop until he has taken every possible step towards holding the Government responsible for the above, especially if he was an assisted passenger and is now on his beam ends. Hoping other sufferers by tho said allurements will come forward with tho intention of holding a meeting, at which I will give my assistance, towards taking proper steps.—-1 am, etc NUDI VERITAS.
