AN ASSASSINATION. United Press AssociaUon---By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright (Received January 31, 9.27 p.m.) ST PETERSBURG. January 31. A workman assassinated M. Gudima, director of the Dorjabri prison, where most of tho political prisoners are confined. The crime was committed while M. Gudima was walking in the principal street of the Vassili Island quarter of St Petersburg. The assassin escaped. Guidum is accused of maltreating revolutionaries.
