The European Consuls here have ordered the Municipal Council to release, unconditionally, a woman charged before the Mixed Court with kidnapping a European resident. -The European residents consider the action a lamentable concession to popular clamour, organised by tbe boycott leaders, who claimed that the woman ought to have been confined in the Chinese, and not the municipal, gaol.
