[Pm Press Association.] AUCKLAND, October 21. The gold returns for Auckland district during the past three weeks show that bullion of the value of £79,814 was won. DUNEDIN October 25. Stock Exchange Safer—Golden Bed 1 13s 63, 13a 9d, 14s, 14s Sd and 14s 9d. A meeting of the shareholders of the Greenstone Creek Dredging Company, convened by the liquidator, was held on October 20, in Christchurch, when the liquidator’s report was presented. The statement of receipts, and expenditure showed that tho dredge was sold for £6OO, and the proceeds of the sale, together with the cash in hand at date of liquidation, enabled tho liquidator to pay the debenture-holders in fu.l, together with interest to date of payment. The sura of £357 17s was distributed amongst.,the ordinary creditors of the company, being at the rate of 17s in tho £ on their claims. There was no surplus in the estate to provide for any payment to tho shareholders. It was decided that the books and documents of the company should be left in the hands of the liquidator for disposal.
