■ [Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, October 25. A young woman named Lily Young was charged in the Police Court with being concerned in somewhat extensive jewellery thefts. She tv as charged with stealing jewellery and money totalling £57 11s 2d, from the dwelling of Margaret M’Kay, on October 11, and stealing a quantity of jewellery value £8 16s, the property of Mr M’Laren, on October 14. Accused, who reserved her defence, pleaded not guilty, and was committed for trial. She was allowed bail, in two sureties of £SO each.
