OPERA HOUSE.
Dix's Gaiety Company reappeared at the Opera House last night, with a strong company. Messrs Pope and Sayles, with their negro comicalities, were the chief attraction, and their turns drew enthusiastic plaudits from the holiday house. Miss May Lewis was as popular as ever with her soubrette items. Belvin amd Cooke's wire walking turn was also excellent, and Miss Belle Kay's contralto songs were musically a diaxming feature of the evening. The Coronation pictures as shown by the American Vitagraph were an improvement ok tihose fjhowa by the Kinetoscope. The remainder of the programme was of ai varied and attractive nature. To-night Misses Florrie and Stella Ranger, and Mr Ernest Fitts will re-appear.
