ST ANDREW’S CHURCH.

In St Andrew's Presbyterian, churdi schoolroom to-morow afternoon, Mr William Reece will open a sale of work in. aidl of the church’s building fund. The members of the churoh have mode great additions to the church property, and effected very considerable improvements upon it inmany ways, in pursuance of a comprehensive scheme -adopted a year ago. The improvement scheme comprised the new school, which was opened in April last, the rebuilding of the vestry to provide accommodation for the new pipe organ now in course of erection), as well as for meetings of the session and deacons’ court, the planting of the grounds, and the erection of a suitable fence round the chnrcb grounds. All the proposed work, with the exception of the fence, has either been completed or is in progress, and to defray at least. a portion of the cost, the ladies of the church have undertaken the sale of work referred to, and are making an appeal to their friends and the public to assist in- the undertaking.
